This one is Kolkata’s favourite and you’re up for quite a competition if you wanna beat this one. The famous flea market where you will get from ordinary to extraordinary, from th Bong girl to the Desi Girl in the most affordable of prices.
2. Gariahat Market
Another famous place in Kolkata for shoppers and bargainers. You’ll get exclusive jewelry to the most authentic sarees and panjabis here. My go-to shopping place where you can get anything and everything is a must try for you guys too.
3. Pantaloons
“Pujo manei Pantaloons”- this phrase is known to every Bengali out there. A pocket friendly shopping place where you will get from chic and trendy western wears along with those aesthetic churidars and kurtas. Not only does it stop there as you can avail beautiful cosmetics here as well from most of the well known brands.
4. South City Mall
I would like to guess that everyone in Kolkata has atleast once visited this shopping mall atleast ince in their life. Every big brand and knows one for everything can be found here and I’m not kidding. If you even wanna enjoy a Starbucks coffee while shopping, you’ll get it here. Zara, Forever 21, Shopper’s Stop, Biba, Manyavar, Puma, Van Heusen and all others have this mall decorated.
5. Vardan Market
An indoor market filled with clothes, crafts, accessories, cosmetics and even amazing food stall for when you get super hungry after the hwavy shopping. It is known mostly known for it’s ethnic wears and beautiful accessories. Everytime you struggle in finding tge right jhumka that goes with your saree, drop by Vardan market and you’re sure to get something of your liking here.
6. Dakshinapan
If you want to look aesthetic in a Bangali way then your stop is Dakshinapan. This place is filled with authentic art & craft showcasing the Bengali culture which also has an impression on the clothing you wilk find there. Not only that, you can also find affordable things there.
