3 Modern Ways to Style your Saree

We Bengalis love the Saree outfit but as much as we love it, we also find it difficult to carry and sometimes backdated when styled in certain ways. We want it to look more modern but want to still have that special charm of the saree which can make any guy’s jaw drop. If you are finding the solutions for this, then you are probably at the right place. We are here to help out with such common issues that most of the women face nowadays. So, without any further chit chat let’s get going—

1. Front Pallu Style with a Slim belt

Now here’s the trick- when wearing a saree just take the pallu and hang it on the front instead of the back, just like in the picture. Now, to give it a more chick and modern look add a slim belt of your choice. It doesn’t only enhance the look of the outfit but also makes incredibly easy to carry. Now add the accessories of your choice and there you go with a perfect outfit for family programs and puja times.

2. Traditional Free Style Pallu

This one’s pretty easy, traditional and beautiful one as well. We most often prefer this one though it’s a bit more of an effort to handle than others but beauty is pain and this much pain every girl is ready to take for some perfect photos for their Insta posts. It’s simple just leave the pallu open like in the picture. Style with your favourite accessories and flaunt your style.

3. Casual Undone Pallu with a Slim or Sleek Belt

This one looks very chic and is a very modern way to style your Saree. Wear the saree in the regular way and leave your Pallu undone or half done to give it a messy look. Secure it with a belt to complete your look. Accessories are important so choose wisely. Studs go pretty well with these outfits.

How to spend time at your home during the Lockdown

We all are facing a major change in our daily lifestyle due to the Covid-19 pandemic situation. Sitting idol at home must be a tough task and finding what to do to kill time is even more exhausting. Well, let’s have a look at some of the activities every youngster could do to spend their time at home. Here we go——-

1. Play Indoor Games

Board games have gained quite a lot of popularity during the pandemic since last year. Playing ludo, chess, carrom etc. with family and if online then even with your friends from afar can be quite an amazing experience.

2. Gardening

One thing I loved trying out during my time at home was gardening. Sowing seeds of different plants and then watch them grow under your care can really have a positive impact on everyone during this negative times. We should always take care of nature and while tge whole world is lacking in oxygen cylinders, plants give us that for free and in efficient amount. So, save trees and plants.

3. Cooking

If you’re someone who loves tasty food then you should definitely be doing this. Well, I tried as I am quite the foodie. It’s a lovely experience and especially when you get to enjoy that tasty food made by yourself. Becoming all creative with the dish is also a form of art.

4. Workout / Dancing

Who isn’t gaining weight during the pandemic? Well, I did and most of the people I know did as well. So, some exercise can keep your mind off the negative thoughts and make you refreshed. If you’re not a fan of exercising then some aerobics and dancing will do the trick as well.

5. Style yourself & try new Makeup and Beauty Hacks

We girls love this— styling ourselves with all the stuff we already have into different styles can make our day. Trying new hacks and trends is amazing. I did it as well and turns out it’s kind of a nice experience. If you want some ideas then you might wanna start with my blog on fashion. Before I take you to the end of this blog I would like to convey a message to everyone and especially parents- one thing I’ve learned in this pandemic is that mental well-being is really important and young people are really lacking it. If your child shows you even one single sign that maybe he is struggling with himself then please do reach out to them. It’s important that we take care of our loved ones. We often forget to make the people who we care for, feel loved. We know that we love them but sometimes expressing that love might save a life. So please be alert and aware of your surroundings.

Put on your mask and stay safe.

What’s on my desk

I mostly spend my time either at my workspace or at my bed watching Netflix which seems to be quite normal for the people of our generation. You will find most of my stuff in my workspace such as my books, stationaries, diary, planners etc. I usually study there and do work which involves the use of electronics and by which I mean the cell phones and it mostly involves attending online classes, doing research work, writing blog posts etc. It is quite stressful though to sit there throughout the day looking at the screens of my cell phone and it’s addictive too. Well this can cause a lot of distraction while studying so what I do generally is I put on some music on my phone which helps me to focus, release the stress and have better determination towards it. I also highly recommend one more thing, which is take frequent breaks or else it can put a lot of pressure on you and might cause stress. So this is all about my workspace and stuff. Hope you found it useful.

My Interests

I am a dancer and to be honest I love it. We all need that someone or something to hold onto which gives our lives purpose and which awakes the creative spirits inside us, dance was that thing in my life which I hold onto and it has been a constant in my life since I was 5 years old or even younger. Apart from that I do a little bit of singing though I am not that good at it and I also used to take swimming lessons because I kind of love beaches and pools so explains my interest in it. I love to do photography too as I think pictures have the power to express the depth and meaning of something which words fail to express sometimes. Well, I do love to travel and move constantly and I could dedicate my whole life into it and wouldn’t regret it for a moment as I am quite an adventurer as well. So,this is all about my personal interests.

Love your life, not because you should but because you are lucky enough to have one!

Before I bring you al to the end of this blog I would like to say a few words. From my personal experiences I have always encountered situations where I am good at a few things but never really felt the way I felt about doing all the things I mentioned above. So, what I am trying to say is that not alk things you do in life or good at is meant for you as your first look should be towards whether or not you feel passionate about that thing or whether you feel that you are meant to be there or not. Things that don’t have your heart can never be good enough in compare to the thing you poured out your heart into.

So, this was it guys. I hope you liked it and please do let me know your views and the point of all this is to start a conversation, doesn’t matter how simple the thing seems to be because sometimes the simplest things can have a huge impact on lives. If you wanna keep in touch with me there is always social media to help you reach us. Bye!

Daily Life

Day to day routines can be boring and tiring to follow so I want to mention this at the beginning only that my daily life is not very uniform as I constantly like change in my surroundings. So let’s a have quick look at what my daily life looks like.

Life is full of colours, it just takes the effort to notice and embrace it.

In this pandemic situation my life has changed a lot and so did I, though I wouldn’t completely mean that I changed rather I evolved. We all are familiar to all the challenges a person faces at their teenage days and especially the girls with periods problems, entirety, stress, mood swings etc. It has been coming as quite a challenge to adjust and get acquainted to the new normal when already we are burdened with our own personal issues. Everyday I wake up in the morning for classes and feel like why am I even attending these classes because without friends school life is meaningless. I have my breakfast but before that I have a glass of lemon juice it is kind of a refresher to these mornings and it has many antioxidants and is good for health too. Well, throughout the day you will find me either sleeping or eating and sometimes even watching Netflix and to be honest it is kind of addictive. Inspite of having this boring routine I always find a way to fill colours in it by trying out a few out of my dictionary activities, such as- exercising, painting, writing stories on wattpad, blogging, dancing, gardening and other stuff. Though exercising was one of my least favorite things and I never actually tried it out before, now it’s a part of my daily routine as I gained quite the weight since last year. I also do a bit of skincare stuff and self- improvisation as I think that it’s time to stirr things up a bit by changing me and my life, mostly by focusing on myself, my plans for future and my mindset. Well, to be honest, it has been quite a nice journey getting to know myself.

Guys please do let me know your thoughts and views, do not hesitate to share any tips or suggestions as well, we all have a lot to learn from each other. And with this we come to the end of this blog. Thanks for reading!
